“Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley recently stopped by the Rachael Ray show for a chat — and she didn’t hesitate to grill him about the potential awkwardness of his wife, Torrey DeVitto, joining his show. Of course, Torrey plays Meredith Fell — a love interest for Alaric — but Paul insists that seeing his wife kiss another guy on the show is more painful for Matt Davis than for Paul.

“He came up to me and he was like, ‘Is this okay? Is this going to be okay? Are you sure?’” Paul says. “I was like ‘Dude, no, it’s okay! Get in there! Get in there champ! Do what you gotta do!’ Perfectly normal, healthy environment.”

Paul Wesley stopped by Sirus XM radio yesterday and talked married life, vampires and being a jersey boy.

Super stud and CW star Paul Wesley was in studio with the Fun Kids Club Squad Team to talk about The Vampire Diaries, his roots (he’s a Jersey boy!,) and his marriage with Pretty Little Liars actress Torrey DeVitto.

He also shared a little story on how he and Bruce Willis bonded over their beloved Garden State!

The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley was a guest on Live! with Kelly this morning, and he asked Ripa’s cohost, D.L. Hughley, if he remembered him. He didn’t. Wesley said he had “three phenomenal words” that might help: “Burt Reynolds volleyball.” That did it! They costarred in the 2006 film Cloud 9, which, judging from the trailer embedded below, was about Burt Reynolds turning strippers into beach volleyball players. “We were up for Best Picture,” joked Wesley, who appears to have played the ladies’ frequently shirtless trainer.

At The Vampire Diaries convention in Chicago yesterday, Paul Wesley dished on swimming with dolphins, yearning to direct and taking over Ian Somerhalder’s body for a day – but first he dispelled a rumor started by Daniel Gillies.

During his Q&A session at the event, Gillies said Wesley took the longest of all TVD stars to get primped for a scene. But Wesley offered to bring in proof to contradict this claim – call sheets that detailed how he was only required to show up 30 minutes prior to a scene for makeup, versus one hour for the other two leads – and concluded:

“I think he’s just confused because I look the best.”

It was that kind of informative, fun hour with the actor. I’ve recorded most of the back-and-forth below…
